This comprehensive tour begins in Cuzco, where you will explore the city's colonial charm and Inca ruins such as the Plaza de Armas, Cuzco Cathedral and Sacsayhuaman. Travel through the Sacred Valley and visit the vibrant market town of Pisac, the fortress of Ollantaytambo and the picturesque village of Chinchero. The tour culminates with an impressive visit to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas, including a guided tour and optional excursions to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. Maras, Moray and Chinchero visit
Maras
The Maras Salt Mines, a breathtaking spectacle of over 4,000 salt ponds, are a testament to Inca ingenuity. Carved into the slopes of Qori Pujio Mountain in the Sacred Valley near Cusco, Peru, these ancient salt flats have been managed by local families for over five centuries. From afar, the pools shimmer like a blanket of snow, their white and earthy tones creating a truly unique landscape. Moray
Moray is an ancient Inca archaeological site located about 50 kilometres northwest of Cusco, nestled in the Sacred Valley. Famous for its unique circular terraces, Moray has several depressions that vary in size and depth, with the largest reaching a depth of around 30 metres. These terraces are believed to have served as an agricultural laboratory where the Incas experimented with different crops and farming techniques, taking advantage of the different microclimates created by the terraces' varying elevations and orientations.

Tipon
Tipón is an impressive Inca archaeological site located approximately 22 kilometers southeast of Cusco, Peru. Nestled at an elevation between 3,250 and 3,960 meters, it showcases remarkable engineering and architectural prowess, particularly in its advanced hydraulic systems. The site features extensive agricultural terraces, intricate irrigation canals, and a monumental fountain that channels water from a natural spring.

Pikillaqta
Pikillaqta, which means 'city of fleas' in Quechua, is an important archaeological site located about 20 kilometres east of Cusco, Peru. As part of the Wari culture, which flourished until around the 9th century AD, this ancient city was built around the 7th century AD. The site has an impressive layout of more than 700 buildings, including residential areas, warehouses and ceremonial structures, and covers an area of more than 50 hectares.

Andahuaylillas
Andahuaylillas is a gorgeous little village tucked away in the Peruvian Andes, just a short 35-kilometre trip from Cusco. It's famous for its breathtaking Iglesia de San Pedro Apóstol, often called the "Sistine Chapel of America." This church is a sight to behold, with its stunning Baroque interior, adorned with intricate murals and artwork from the 17th century.

Huaro

Sacsaywaman Visit
Sacsaywaman
We explore the ancient Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, near Cuzco. Situated on the northern outskirts of Cuzco, Peru, at an altitude of 3,701 metres, Sacsayhuaman is a powerful symbol of Inca ingenuity. This 15th century fortress, built under the reign of the Sapa Inca Pachacuti, is famous for its massive dry-stone walls, built without mortar, which demonstrate advanced architectural techniques. Visitors are amazed by the size of the stones, some of which are over 8 metres high and weigh up to 125 tonnes.

Qenqo
Qenqo, which means "labyrinth" in Quechua, is an important archaeological site. It is located about 4 kilometres from Cusco, Peru, at an altitude of 3,580 metres above sea level. It is famous for its intricate rock carvings and underground passages, integral to Inca ceremonial practices. It is believed that Qenqo served as a religious centre. Rituals were performed in honour of the major Inca deities, such as the sun and the moon.
